David A. Schwab died Sept. 9, 2017.

He was born June 19, 1942, in Puyallup, Washington, to the late Robert and Maxine Schwab. He graduated from White River High School in 1960, joined the Army and served in Germany. He spent the majority of his life in Anchorage, Alaska, retiring from the municipality of Anchorage. He then returned to Washington and resided in Copalis Beach until his death.

He is survived by daughter Jennifer Rose; sons Randy Parker and David Schwab Jr.; a brother; four sisters; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a son.

A celebration of life is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Buckley Multipurpose Center.
