Dayton Lyneil Hubbard was born on July 19, 1933, in Brush, Colorado. He passed away on October 2, 2024, in Carbonado, Washington. Dayton was kind and generous to everyone he met.He never had a cross word to say about anyone.

Dayton graduated fromWhite River H.S. in 1952.

He served in theUSNavy and worked most of his life as an optician with his best friend, Wes Kelly, and finishing his career at GroupHealthOptical. Dayton was married to the love of his life Rowena (Martin) for 70 glorious years. Their love for each other was evident to all that knew them.

Dayton and Rowena raised five children and have 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Dayton is survived by his wife Rowena, children, Martin (Mary Stokes), Brad (Maureen), Scott (Ava), Brett (Eladio), and Gina (Steve). Dayton will be missed by family and friends. At Dayton’s request no services will be held. Donations in his memory can be made to the Carbonado Fire Department.
