Enumclaw resident Dean Anthony “Deano” Michael, 55, died Oct 25, 2011, in Tacoma.

He was born Sept. 3, 1956, in Seattle, to Leroy Dean Michael and Miriam Erwina (Hallenius) Michael. He led a simple life and was known for his love of the Seattle Mariners and music, in addition to living a green lifestyle. He served in the U.S Navy and worked at The Boeing Company for more than 15 years.

He is survived by wife Brenda Jean Michael; son Austin Christopher Michael; daughter Brittanie Nicole Michael; siblings Lew Michael, Kathy Yates and husband Brian, Char Kolkow and husband Alan, Laura Miller and husband Ray, Julie Osgoodby and husband Bruce, and Viola Von Lindern and husband Mitch.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis Michael.

A funeral took place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to a local animal shelter as he was an animal lover.
