Enumclaw resident Debi Danette Severson, 57, died unexpectedly on June 27, 2018.

She was born Nov. 28, 1960, in Auburn, Washington, to Phillip and Judy Patton. Always one to care for others, she dedicated her time to being a stay-at-home mother to her children. She worked many years as an attendant at Rainier School.

She is survived by husband Gordon Severson; children Christopher Severson (Suzi), Bill Severson (Katie) and Angela Mostrom (Russell); mother Judy Patton; siblings Terry, Dan and Jill Patton; and six grandchildren.

The family encourages donations in her memory to a local animal organization.
