Enumclaw resident Diane Byrd died with family by her side on Nov. 30, 2014. She was 79.

She was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Kellogg, Iowa.

She is survived by daughters Melissa James, Mary Ranton and Joyce Dao, all of Enumclaw; brother David Hotchkin of Seattle; sisters Patricia Pierce of Grinnell, Iowa, and Hope Cokerton, also of Iowa; six grandchildren and five great-grandchldren. She was preceded in death by husband Cit Byrd and son Scott Byrd.

No services are planned.

Memorials may be made to Enumclaw Fire/District 28.

Arrangements are by Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.
