Donald George Kilwine of Buckley passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023 at the age of 89 in Puyallup, WA. He was born February 1, 1934 to George and Agnes (Braun) Kilwine in Fromberg, MT. He graduated from Belgrade High School in 1953 and was drafted into the United States Air Force where he served 4 years including 1 year in Okinawa, Japan. While stationed at McChord Air Force Base, he met Barbara Jean French of Buckley at a dance and they were married April 1956 at Community Presbyterian Church of Buckley.

He retired in 1996 from the WSU Research Dairy in Buckley.

Don is survived by his sons Robert (Margie) of Surprise, Arizona; William (Shelly) of Buckley; daughter Debra (Marty) Brewer of Buckley; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents and his four siblings, Ron, Jean, Tom, and Patricia.

Don was loving husband, dad, grandpa (Papa). He is deeply missed but we cherish all the wonderful memories that we’ll forever hold in our hearts.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date to scatter his ashes following his wishes Arrangements by Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley, WA.
