September 29, 1931 – January 2, 2025, at the age of 93

Dorothy was born in Buckley, WA, to Vernie and Eunice Barber, to a family of 3 siblings, she being the middle child.

She married Alvin “Jens” Jensen on July 16, 1949. Gloria, Donna and David were the 3 children born of that union. She loved going to bingo with her “bingo buddy”, Robbie and joining the Red Hatters luncheons.

But, first and foremost were the family get-togethers.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Alvin “Jens”, daughter Gloria Grogan and son in law Gary Grogan. She is survived by her son David and his spouse Mimi, daughter Donna and her spouse Merle Rose. Along with 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park, Enumclaw, alongside her husband. No services were held at her request.
