Former Enumclaw resident Dorothy Louise Osborn died May 7, 2016.
She was born May 8, 1927, in Weissert, Neb., and her family migrated to California when she was a teenager. She later relocated in Washington and settled in Enumclaw in 1960. She was the office manager at the Enumclaw Sales Pavilion for more than 20 years. A few years after retiring, she moved up to Stanwood, Wash.
She is survived by brother Richard O. Govier of Florida; son Richard Helms of Cumberland; daughters Phyllis Clark (Jim) of Stanwood and Janet Helms-Schroeder (George) of Bonney Lake; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Clare Osborn; sister Allona Sandors; daughters Sandra Lee Helms and Bonnie Marie Helms; son Wesley M. Hanson; stepdaughter Kay (Osborn) Furtwangler and stepson Raymond Osborn.
A funeral took place at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, at the Buckley Cemetery. A reception was at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley following the graveside service.
