Buckley resident Emilee “Em” McClung died Nov. 12, 2018, with her family by her side. She was 68.
She had relocated to South Puget Sound in 1967, fell in love with Mike McClung and the two were married July 16, 1980. Together they shared a passion for the outdoors adventure, hunting, fishing, camping and scouting the local mountains. They both had strong family values & raised their children using the love of outdoors as the foundation for a life lead by nature. She is remembered as a loving wife, a patient mother and a supportive friend.
She is survived by husband Mike McClung of Buckley; daughters Stacey Hacking of Puyallup and Michelle Hacking-Huffmaster (Richard) of Tacoma; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents Larry and Doris Jackson; infant daughter Jamie Marie McClung; and son Jesse McClung on Dec. 20, 2007.
A funeral service is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley. There will be a viewing at 4 p.m. prior to the funeral.
