Gene Kerr passed away at home on March 16, 2023, after a long battle with COPD. He was preceded in death by his son Richard, and his parents. He is survived by wife Ellie (Elinor); brother Richard; son Eugene (Julie); bonus daughters Laurie, Tammi (Greg), Joni, and Tari (Dan); twelve grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In 2002, Gene’s health forced him to retire from Laborers Local 242. Gene loved his family, fishing, and cheering on his Seattle Mariners as a “true- to-the-blue” fan.
