Evelyn Jones of Enumclaw died March 10, 2011, at the age of 86.

She was born July 18, 1924, in Sand Springs, Okla., to Howard and Laura (Payne) Saxton. She was a registered nurse and married Eldon Jones in 1979 in Sand Springs. She was a seamstress, painter and bird watcher who enjoyed her flower garden.

She is survived by husband Elden Jones; son Bud Ledbetter and wife Susan of Enumclaw; daughter Sheila Saxton of Bonney Lake; sister Bonnie Hale and husband Bob of Sand Springs; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service took place Tuesday, March 15, at the Kibler Avenue Church of Christ. Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Park.
