F. Jean Hall was born in Shelton, Washington on July 23, 1932. She passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023, in Buckley, Washington.
Jean was a long-time resident of the plateau where she raised her family and went on to drive a school bus for over 40 years. She retired from Enumclaw School District and then went on to substitute for another 20 plus years with the White River School District in Buckley. She served multiple generations of families, keeping children safe. She drove a bus well into her 80’s. She loved doing it regardless of the weather.
Jean is preceded in death by her brother Charles “Chuck” Griggs, her sisters Mae Morgan and Phyllis Griggs, her two grandchildren Meghan and Kelly Hall and her son Bruce Hall.
Jean leaves behind her daughter Kathy Gilmore (Randy), Mark Hall (Mary), Curtis Hall and Clay Hall (Shelley), granddaughter Arielle Hall-Bollinger (Sebastian) and grandson Noah Hall.
Jean was an endless source of joy and love to her family and friends. She enjoyed baseball, football, and bingo. She was a shrewd card player and loved hanging out with her family. She will be sorely missed.
