Frances Pauline (Howland) Sewell died April 26, 2013.
She was born March 19, 1920, in Everett, Wash., to Edgar and Martha Howland. She graduated in 1937 from Everett High School and attended business college in Seattle. While working at Northwestern Glass Co. she met John Sewell and they were married Sept. 19, 1941. She worked as an administrative assistant with Boeing for many years, retiring in 1986. Her interests included reading, crossword puzzles, knitting and crochet work, and traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. For more than 15 years, she resided at Living Court in Enumclaw.
She is survived by children Michael Sewell, Harry Sewell and wife Heather, Lois Phaneuf and husband George, Patricia Thompson and husband Tom, and Norman Sewell and wife Joyce; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John Sewell, and grandson Robert D. Cloutier.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations and gifts be directed to them.
