Gail Marie Pohlot died May 7, 2019, in Auburn at the age of 90.
She was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Fox, Oregon, to Orrin and Mary (Osborn) Ledgerwood. She spent her childhood in Oregon, graduating from Grant Union High School with the class of 1947. She moved to Portland, Oregon, and later to Seattle. On July 9, 1955, she married George E. Pohlot and together they had three children. She worked in the payroll department at Valley Medical Center. She was an avid reader and especially liked mysteries and romance novels. Other pastimes included square dancing, bowling, embroidery and visits to casinos.
She is survived by children Neola King, Ken Pohlot (Kim) and Charles Pohlot (Marie Pierce); siblings Bob Ledgerwood (Rhoene) and Barbara Morris (Vernon); and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband George on Sept. 23, 1969.
A funeral service took place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. She was buried beside her husband at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park.
