Garry Lee Horton died Feb. 16, 2017. He was 73.
He born July 17, 1943, in Bismarck, N.D., to the late Dean and Esther Horton. He was co-owner of GE&B Nursery with his wife of 55 years Ellen (Fant). He enjoyed reminiscing with his childhood friends Dave Williams, Brent Cristel and Dwight Partin. Aside from his wife and kids his greatest joy was his John Deere tractors which he could be seen on most days loading bark or just driving around the nursery. He also loved to visit with his old and new customers and had a talent for landscape design that can be seen throughout the Plateau and the state. He was a lifelong member of the Buckley Eagles where he loved listening to music and dancing with his mother.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ellen; sons Brent Horton (Lisa), Ridge Horton (Terri) and Curtis Horton (Ann); and eight grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by brothers Dean, Earl and Gene.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Enumclaw Senior Center, Multicare Home Health and Hospice or any other organization of the donor’s choice.
