Gary McGinnes, 72, of Enumclaw died Dec. 8, 2017.

He was born Jan. 4, 1945, to Walter and Mary McGinnes in Seattle. He was the district manager for Weisfield and Morgan Jewelers and later owned and operated Sunrise LTD, a fly fishing outfitter. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, writing short stories and poetry.

He is survived by son Nicholas Padoen of Rainier, Oregon; daughters Trieste Madden (Jessie) of Rainier, Oregon, and Kelly McGinnes of Bellingham; brothers Jeff McGinnes (Katie) of Enumclaw and Scott McGinnes (Carol) also of Washington; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
