Gregory G. Kochevar, 63, died Feb. 8, 2017, in Enumclaw.

He was born Feb. 7, 1954, in Tacoma to the late Bernice and Phillip Kochevar. He enjoyed meeting people during outings around town and never forgot anyone’s name. He held a paper route from the age of 12 until he was 16. He then went to work for the family business, John Kochevar and Sons. He got his driver’s license at the age of 30, liked playing dice and frequented Reno for many years. He tried skiing and loved old TV shows and going to Seattle’s Pike Place Market or the race track.

He is survived by his brothers John F. (Cheryl) Kochevar of Enumclaw and Phillip A. (Susan) Kochevar of Orting. He was preceded in death by uncle Gordon Kochevar in 1995.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. A reception will take place at 1 p.m. at Elk Head Brewing Co. in Buckley.

Remembrances may be made to the Enumclaw Fourth of July Fireworks Fund in care of the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, 1421 Cole St., Enumclaw, 98022.
