May 17, 1959 – February 9, 2025
Howie was born May 17, 1959 and joined his heavenly father on February 9, 2025.
He grew up in Wilkeson and spent most of his life in the area. He went to school at Wilkeson Elementary from Kindergarten through 8th grade and then finished school atWhite RiverHigh School in Buckley, which for him was 11th grade because he thought he was “too cool for school”. He loved being outdoors, hiking, camping, and fishing.Which in his early life prompted him to work in many outdoor jobs including the Forest Service where he did a lot of wild land firefighting as well as logging and land clearing. Later in life his joy was running heavy equipment and working in construction.
He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Katie (Sam Samules) Howard and sister Lorraine Wilson from Enumclaw. Mother Cookie, brother David, Aunt Cathy (Leroy) Nelsen, nieces Janelle Lewis and Erienne Pool from Wilkeson. Uncle Dick (Bev) Howard from Buckley. As well as Ellen Tucker from DesMoines.
Howie was preceded in death by his father Harry Howard and nephew Brenden Pool. Now there will be no more bad days love. All the usuals, We will always love you.
