Hazel Ruth Fisher died Dec. 24, 2017, in Enumclaw. She was 87.

She was born April 27, 1930, in Minnesota and went on to own a rhododendron nursery.

She is survived by daughter Eileen Johnson; brother Roger Buxton of Kent, Washington; sister Virginia Caldwell of Sun City West, Arizona; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Elmer V. Fisher and son Martin Fisher.

A service took place Jan. 13 at the Cherokee Bay Community Club. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery.
