Herbert Crosby Becker, 77, died Sept. 9, 2015, in Enumclaw.

He was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Gary, Ind., and had lived in this area 50 years. He had worked as a certified public accountant.

He is survived by wife Barbara Becker; son Herbert C. Becker Jr. of Hinsdale, Ill.; daughter Shannon Thornton of Tacoma; sister Peggy Murphy of Pomona, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A service took place at 1 p.m. Sept. 16 at Enumclaw Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Steve Strombom officiating.
