Buckley resident Jack V. Bentley, 74, died Oct. 20, 2014. He had lived 20 years in the area.
He was born July 17, 1940, in Deming, N.M., served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an attendant counselor at Rainier School. He enjoyed rock hunting and making jewelry.
He is survived by son David Bentley (Cynthia) of Carbonado; daughter Dolletta McRae of Carbonado; brothers Charles Bentley and Harrison Bentley, both of Los Lunas, N.M.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Victoria “Vicky” Bentley in June 2014, brother Kenneth Bentley and sister Shirley Bentley.
No services are planned. He will be buried at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
