Lifelong Enumclaw resident James Dahl Pedersen died May 22, 2018, at the age of 80.

He was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Enumclaw to parents Daniel and Jenny (Dahl) Pedersen. He spent his career working at the Weyerhaeuser Enumclaw mill and retired in 2000. He loved tending to his cattle and his garden. He had a special touch for growing flowers and enjoyed giving them away.

He is survived by his brother Dale Pedersen of Graham, Washington, and sisters Dorothy Annon of Puyallup and Joanne Beich of Sunnyvale, California.

A gathering of friends and family is planned for 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at the Osceola Hall, 45623 220th Ave. S.E., Enumclaw, 98022.
