Enumclaw resident James R. Rush, 59, died Feb. 26, 2011.
He was born Dec. 21, 1951, in Bremerton, Wash., to James D. and Marguerite (DeBien) Rush. He grew up in Des Moines, Wash., and graduated from Mount Rainier High School. He worked for Boeing for 39 years. He loved watching the Seahawks and Mariners, woodworking, gardening, and also enjoyed Christmas lights, road trips and Disneyland. He was a history buff who loved his dogs Daisy and Minnie.
He is survived by wife Vera Rush of Enumclaw; son Joe Rush and wife Ruth of Auburn; daughters Maggie Laukala and husband Matt of Enumclaw, Jennifer Morley of Enumclaw and Coral Livengood of Covington; father James Rush of Auburn; brother Frank Rush and wife Theresa of Olympia; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by mother Marguerite Rush on April 20, 2001.?A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
