James Ward, 70, died Aug. 11, 2011, in Puyallup following a lengthy illness.

He was born Jan. 31, 1941, in Sunnyside, Wash.

He is survived by brother Stan Ward and wife Vicki of Buckley and sisters Beverly Haynen and husband Bill of Enumclaw and Linda Lowrey and husband Neil of Spokane, Wash.

A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Weeks’ Funeral Home.
