Born on October 24, 1935, in Paterson, New Jersey, to Edward Barkley and Elma Sines, Jean was a woman of immense strength and dedication. She passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, and her legacy continues to inspire those who were fortunate to have known her.
Jean was a cherished wife, mother, friend, and mentor. She is survived by her loving family that includes her sister, Jan Hammons; daughters Mary Janosik and Kay West; sons David and Patrick Morris; stepson Erik Hammer and their respective spouses ,in addition to 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jean was strong in her faith and had loved ones who preceded her in death who were waiting to welcome her home: her parents, Edward Barkley and Elma Sines; husbands, Jim Morris and Gene Hammer; daughter, Jennifer Sutton; son, Daniel Morris and grandson, Nathan Schefler.
