On Monday, January 15, 2024, Jeffrey Daniel Benchley went home to be with the Lord. Jeff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born on May 31, 1960 to Sue and Paul Benchley in Oscoda, Michigan. Where he attended school and later graduated in 1978. Jeff had seven siblings, Kelly, JB, Kevin, Mike, Paul, Suzy, and Scott. After leaving Michigan Jeff worked in the carpenters union for many years which took him to many states such as New Mexico, Utah, and Alaska before planting his roots in Washington State where he met and married his best friend and soulmate, Shawn Hash on February 17, 1996. Together they raised four beautiful daughters in the Enumclaw area Christina, Kelsey, Jessica and Krysta. Where they later owned a beautiful home and thriving bar. Jeff loved to spend time with his grandchildren who he adored. Wezley aka Dub, Micheala, and little Jimmy Dickens. Jeff had many passions from horse back riding, fishing, traveling in his motorhome and riding his Harley. Jeff had many friends and many memorable experiences with them and his wife, Shawn from their Michigan travels to Sturgis and lets not forget Taco Thursdays at City Hall Saloon. Jeff was a remarkable, fun, loving man who would do anything for anyone and will be missed by many. There will be a celebration of life at the Black Diamond Eagles on March 2, 2024 at 2:00pm.
