JoAnn Presba died at home in Enumclaw on April 11, 2019.
She was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Carbonado, Washington, to Stanley and Clara Belle (Toney) Secor. In 1952 she married Orville Presba in Seattle and settled in the Shoreline area. In the years that followed she raised a son and started a business with her husband. In 1978 they moved to Redmond, Washington, to their dream home.
After her husband died she moved to Enumclaw to be near her brother and travel companion, Bill Secor. In her later years she loved being the “demo lady” at Safeway, spending hours enjoying the slot machines at the casino and spending time with her family.
She is survived by son David Presba (Marina) of Enumclaw; brothers Dale Secor (Linda) and Tom Secor (Nancy); sisters Karen Damer (David) and Pam Munro (Tom); and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Orville Presba and siblings Stan, Bill, Dick, Lois and Bev.
There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
