Longtime Enumclaw resident Joyce Dickerson Radder died March 7, 2018, at the age of 76.
She was born July 19, 1941, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Vincent and Elsie (Linton) Smith. She was a library assistant for several schools in the Enumclaw School District. She loved the University of Washington Huskies and worked at the UW in event management as a supervisor for more than 20 years. She was an avid fan of all UW sports but was especially
fond of the women’s softball team. When she wasn’t with family or rooting on her favorite Husky team, she would spend her time reading, working crossword puzzles and having “half” a glass of good wine with friends. She loved the beach and spent her final years, after the death of her husband Peter, at her home in Ocean Shores, Washington.
She is survived by children Craig A. Floyd of Westport, Washington, Fred V. Floyd (Linda) of Richland, Washington, Guy W. Floyd of Ocean Shores, Robert G. Radder of Alaska, Michael G. Radder of Renton and Mary Beth Radder-Douglas of Ocean Shores; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a time of visitation at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m., both at Enumclaw Expo Center fieldhouse (Pete’s Pool), 1456 Roosevelt Ave. E., Enumclaw, 98022.
