Judith “Judy” Flaschner died Dec. 15, 2017, in Enumclaw.
She was born June 25, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to Henry and Erna Flaschner. She loved the Lord and every Friday helped the homeless with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She is remembered as kind, caring, intelligent, quick-witted and a jokester. She was a great athlete, an avid fisherman, a bowler and even played baseball until the age of 55. She worked for Continental Airlines and General Electric, traveled extensively, enjoying domestic and international scuba diving and skiing in Colorado. After moving to Enumclaw she was a greeter at Wabash Presbyterian Church and a member of the Enumclaw Garden Club.
She is survived by sisters Annette Flaschner of Enumclaw and Arleen Thieme (Don) of Dallas, Texas.
A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Wabash Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers her family requests memorial donations be made to Wabash Presbyterian Church, 18325 S.E. 384th St., Auburn, Washington 98092.
