Kyle Joswick, age 47, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from a sudden heart attack. He was born October 19, 1972, in Tacoma, WA, to Robert and Judy (Leet) Joswick. Kyle graduated from White River High School in 1991 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Eastern WA University.
After college, Kyle worked for a local Ford dealer as a fi nance manager for over 20 years. He was a gentle soul, nicknamed “Yetti” by his closest friends, coming in at 6’5”, with a huge, generous heart. In his spare time, Kyle loved spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews. He was an avid fisherman and as a teenager, he and his family spent many summer weekends at Lake Chelan.
Kyle grew up with his friend, Aarron Schumacher, and the two remained the best of friends into adulthood. Aarron’s dad, Chris, started taking the boys salmon fi shing at Sekiu when they were 12 years old. Back then, they spent a week fishing out of a 15 ft aluminum boat. As an adult, Kyle upgraded the crew to a 21 ft. fishing boat with all the bells and whistles. He loved to fi sh the waters of Craig, Alaska and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Judy Joswick (Victor Guarin), his father, Robert Joswick, brothers, Jason Joswick, and Aarron (Raela) Schumacher, sisters Regan (Josh) Birlew and her children Ethan, Aiden, and Quinn, and Stephanie Guarin and her children Jackson and Gavin Muller, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
A Celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at a later date. Burial was at Buckley City Cemetery.
