Linda Susan Cameron, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, passed away on June 25, 2024. Linda was born in Salem, Oregon on May 27, 1948, but spent the vast majority of her life in Enumclaw and Buckley, Washington, where she enjoyed living in a small community. Known for her loving heart, Linda was someone who had the uncanny knack of makingeveryonearoundherfeelspecial.Herfunnyanecdotesandgenerousspiritwereabeacon of light to all, and her thoughtfulness was apparent in every interaction.
Linda worked in the banking industry and enjoyed knowing her coworkers and serving the community. She was a devoted member of Wabash Church, where she enjoyed Bible study, working with small children and cooking for many church functions. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, and share a kind word. Linda’s children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all family were the most important people in her life.
Linda’s generous spirit and love for life were infectious. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards, taking walks and sharing countless lunches with her large circle of friends and sisters. Her laughter was a melody that will echo in the hearts of those who knew her. Linda is survived by her sons Steven Cameron (Desi) and David Cameron; her sisters Lila Wheatly; LaDonna (Donn) Wilson; her brothers Ron (Jill) and Ric Thiele; her grandson Brett Cameron; her granddaughters Amie, Tessa, Mia, Stella Cameron and Lindee (Zack) Nosler; her great-grandchildren Collin and Katie Cameron, Casey Cameron Shenkel, and Lainee Nosler, and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane Cameron, her parents Elmer and Betty Thiele, and her brother Randy Thiele.
A memorial service will be held at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, Washington, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at 12:00 p.m. Please join us to celebrate Linda’s remarkable life and legacy.
