Lonnie C. Tingvall of Buckley died May 10, 2018, following a short illness. He was 61.
He was born May 29, 1956, in Seattle to the late Horace G. and Sharlee Ann Spokely Tingvall. He was a truck driver by profession, having worked for several companies, most recently for Northern Sales Company Inc. in Sumner. He loved camping with his family, family gatherings, the Seahawks, dirt bike riding, ocean crab fishing, was active in various sports and piloted his own plane. Most of all, he was there for his family, always putting his children first.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and his best friend Sam.
Survivors include children Nick Tingvall of Cle Elum, Washington, and Amanda Ahrendsen (Jesse) of Roslyn, Washington; siblings Janet Milbrath (Rick) of Mineral, Washington, Jeff Tingvall (Dawn) of Ravensdale, Mike Tingvall (Herman) of California and Janine LaBay (Mike) of Washington; and three grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, in the chapel of Weeks’ Funeral Home, 451 Cemetery Rd., Buckley, Washington. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
