Buckley resident Lou Ann Elaine Heins died Nov. 30, 2018, in Enumclaw. She was 94.
She was born Oct. 11, 1924, in Goodhue, Minnesota, to Albro and Minnie Martensen. She married Milton Heins on Feb. 1, 1947, and began her life as an Army wife. After her husband’s retirement, the two settled in Buckley and continued to raise their family. They loved traveling, especially in their RV. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by sons David Heins of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Milton Heins II (Maria) of Enumclaw; daughters Amy Conner (Greg) and Bari Olson (Jon), both of Buckley; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Milton Heins in 2007, brother Alton Martinsen and sisters Doris Kyllo and Hazel Olson.
A private celebration of life is planned by the family. She will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
