Enumclaw resident Louise B. Jongewaard, 82, died March 3, 2014, in Puyallup.

She was born Dec. 18, 1931, in Enumclaw to Ludwig and Bertha (Engfer) Schonbachler. She retired as a cook from the Washington County Jail in Oregon. She is remembered as a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and being with her family.

She is survived by daughters Marci Parrott and husband Bill of Buckley, Gaye Lyn Dickinson of Arizona and Cindy Bartee of Alaska; son David Gonzales and wife Shannon of Enumclaw; brothers Norman Schonbachler and wife Carole and Patrick Schonbachler; sister Genevieve Bolson; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers John and Frank Schonbachler.

A celebration of life service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Hillside Community Church in Enumclaw.
