Louise Baerny was born on May 17, 1929 in Kearney, Nebraska to Paul and Clara Wolfe. At the age of 9 her family moved to Auburn Washington where she attended school and graduated from Auburn High School.
It was in High School that a handsome guy with a fast car named Frank Baerny caught her attention. On August 7, 1947, Louise married Frank in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They first lived on Lake Doloff and then moved to “HST SE” in Auburn where they lived for 60 plus years raising their children Russ and Teri.
Louise (Jo) was very creative and loved her hobbies, she especially loved oil painting and did many paintings that she gifted to her friends and family. She also loved camping on the Tilton River and making motorhome trips to see her sister in Arizona. After her husband passed away in 2011, she stayed in their home until 2015 when she moved to Heritage House in Buckley where she lived until her passing on November 26, 2019. Louise is survived by her family, son Russell Baerny (Kathy), daughter Teri Anderson (Scott), sisters Dixie Bogel and Julie King, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A special thank you to the Staff and Residents at Heritage House for their kindness and friendship to our Mom during the last 4 years. A memorial will be held at a later time.
