Marceil Elenor Quaale of Black Diamond died Nov. 30, 2019, in Auburn, following a long illness. She was 89.
She was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Seattle to Marvin A. and Cecil Gladys Derrick. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a psychologist. She worked as an LPN in neonatal units and also in-home health care for the aged. She married Roy S. Quaale Aug. 9, 1996, in King County. She loved camping and was a member of the Eagles and the Redmond Senior Center.
She is survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy in 2006; son Richard LeRoy Tignor Jr. in 2008 and daughter Delna Mae (Tignor) in 1983.
Her urn will be placed with her husband at Novelty Hill Cemetery in Duvall, Washington.
