Margaret Mary Ehlke died April 28, 2017, at her home in Bonney Lake. She was 90.
She was born in 1926 in Moorhead, Minn., where she was raised on a farm and attended school. After graduating from high school she moved to Seattle in 1945, where she worked in a box factory before accepting a job with Boeing where she retired in 1989 after 40 years of employment. She spent most of her free time, if not with family, fishing, quilting, gardening and occasionally some casino hopping.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Loyis “Sonny” Ehlke; son John (Jeri) Booth; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Victor, Paul, Ramond and Francis; and sisters Tillie, Lauretta, Alvina, Bernice, Vilot and Marcella.
Visitation took place Friday, May 5, and a funeral Service was on Saturday, May 6, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. A graveside service followed at Enumclaw Memorial Park and a reception took place after the graveside service at the Four Seasons restaurant in Enumclaw.
