Maudie Kathrine Argo, 86, died April 8, 2018, in Auburn.
She was born July 2, 1932, in Tacoma to George and Ruth Welcome and grew up in Carbonado with eight siblings. She married Chuck Gallion in 1950 and together they had five children. She married Norman Argo in 2002. She moved her family from Carbonado to Wilkeson to run the Gallion raspberry/strawberry farm from 1967 to 1977. After that she went to work for Boeing Aerospace, first in Palmdale, California, and then in Seattle until retirement. She loved going to the ocean, Tigger her cat, and following Kasey Kahne and the Seattle Seahawks. In her later years she enjoyed visiting casinos.
She is survived by husband Norman Argo of Auburn; sons Dan Gallion of Randall, Washington, and Allen Gallion of Buckley; daughters Kathi Baldwin (Al) of Auburn and Michelle Gallion Reed of Lake Tapps; brother Donald of Idaho; sister Irene of Idaho; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Gallion of Buckley; brothers Gordon, Joe, David, Charlie and Harvey; sister Stella.
