Monya Jane Hunt died June 4, 2017.

She was born Aug. 18,1936, in Fort Peck, Mont., to the late Anton and Evelyn Olson. She attended White River High School and married Norman Hunt in 1952. They made their home in Buckley and raised four children. She loved sewing, craft-making, gardening, camping at ocean beaches and picnicking with family and friends.

She is survived by daughter Delaura; sons Steven and Stanley; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband Norman, sister Unona, brother Bob and daughter Jane.

Remembrances can be made to the Buckley Eagles or the Buckley Fire Department.

A celebration of her life is planned for 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at the Buckley Eagles.
