Maxine was escorted into the arms of her precious Lord and Savior shortly after her 102nd birthday.

Maxine was born in Vancouver, Washington on August 28, 1921 to Henry and Irene Maas.

She graduated from Vancouver High School in 1940 then attended Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon where she met her sweetheart, Jack Glaze, and married him on April 23, 1943. After nearly 66 years of marriage, Jack passed away in December of 2008 leaving her widowed since.

She had a lifelong devotion to others as a prayer warrior, sending letters and cards of encouragement to hundreds of people around the world.

Maxine is survived by four sons and two daughters and their spouses, Jon Glaze of Portland, Oregon, Ron Glaze of Potlatch, Idaho, Don Glaze of Napa, Idaho, and Tim Glaze of McArthur, California, Lois Youmans of Spokane, Washington, Joy Smith of Enumclaw, Washington. Two sisters survive her as well as many nephews and nieces. She has 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She has requested that donations go to the Plateau Outreach Ministries, Deacons fund at Hillside Community, Gideon’s or a mission of your choice instead of flower memorials.

Memorial service will be held at Hillside community Church: September 30th at 2:00 PM.
