Patricia Lorraine “Patsy” Mulder, 87, died December 23, 2018.

She was born July 4, 1931, in Kent, Washington, to Pete and Nellie Schoordyk. Raised on the family dairy farm, she graduated from Auburn High School. She moved to Enumclaw 66 years ago after marrying Nick Mulder on Sept. 5, 1952. They spent their early years together starting a family and a dairy farm of their own in Enumclaw. She worked for several years at Bethesda Manor Nursing Home and at Jayhawks, both in Enumclaw. She is remembered as a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by daughters Cynthia Pellum of Buckeye, Arizona, and Vicky Walters (Stephen) of Enumclaw; brother Pete Schoordyk (Sharon) of Selah, Washington; sister Elsie Parkin of Black Diamond; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas “Nick” Mulder, son Daniel “Dan” Mulder and brother-in-law Bill Parkin.
