Paul M. Media, 67, died Jan. 16, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up in Black Diamond and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1970. He married Debbie Aden on Dec. 3, 1976, and they moved to Alaska permanently in 1982. He retired from Alaska Airlines and spent his retirement years in Ninilchik, Alaska, where he enjoyed halibut fishing, reading and spending time with family and friends. He opened a charter fishing business, Alaskan Fishing Fever, with his son, Jason.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Media, of Ninilchik; son Jason Media of Alaska; daughters Kristan Reed of Maple Valley and Shantell Debner of Iowa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
