Former Enumclaw resident Phyllis Bovat, 77, died Dec. 6, 2012, in Tacoma.
She was born Jan. 9, 1935, in Ellensburg, Wash., to George and Francis Pilgrim. She enjoyed bowling and traveling and was a “people person.” She is best remembered for her work as a secretary at Enumclaw High School. She retired in 1990.
She is survived by husband Raymond of Bonney Lake; son John Nagel of Juneau, Alaska; daughter Cheryl Marshall of Auburn, Wash.; stepchildren Donna Barnes of Washington, Steve Bovat of Colorado and Mark Bovat of Washington; and one grandchild.
