Lifetime Black Diamond resident Raymond Kenneth Signani died June 27, 2018, at his home.
He was born Oct. 4, 1930, to the late Renato and Klara (Aune) Signani. Following high school he worked at Boeing for a year and then he enlisted and served four years in the U.S. Air Force where he was trained as an aircraft mechanic. After his honorable discharge he returned to work at Boeing until his retirement. Ray was a donor to the Museum of Flight. He had a wide range of interests, from vintage cars to wine making, and loved to tinker in the garage. He was involved with activities at St. Barbara Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by brother Lawrence Signani of Enumclaw. He was preceded in death by brother Leonard Signani.
Services will take place Saturday, July 14, at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Black Diamond. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and a funeral Mass begins at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Burial with military honors will be at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park at 2 p.m.
