Richard Lynn Kittelman, 78, a long-time member of the Enumclaw community, was surrounded by family as he entered-into God’s kingdom on March 1, 2023.
Rick was born on May 23, 1944, in Hay Springs, Nebraska, where he was raised on the farm until his early twenties. He moved to Washington State in 1965 where he began his work career at Boeing. Using his detail- oriented mind and analytical skills, he excelled in both manufacturing and Management positions. Rick spent his entire working career at Boeing until his retirement.
Rick will be remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Rick enjoyed many hobbies over his lifetime including astronomy, photography, aviation, building model airplanes, telling stories, and most of all and making people laugh with his quick witted and comedic sarcasm. He is survived by his sons, Tom Kittelman (Laurie); Doug Kittelman (Connie); his daughters Jodi Kittelman; Sheri Jorgensen (Pete); grandchildren, Deidre Jorgensen, Alyssa Johnson, Forrest Dahl, Jared Johnson (Carlyn), Brandon Kittelman, Chandler Kittelman, Elijah Kittelman, Kylee Kittelman, Nathan Kittelman, Emily Kittelman, Darrion Smith (Keyla), and Adrian Grant; and great grandchildren Indie Dahl, Devlin Smith, Demari Smith, and Grey Johnson.
Rick’s surviving siblings are Janelle Binger (Monte), Patricia Loffer (Mark), and Robert Kittelman. He is preceded in his death by parents Melvin and Mary Kittelman, and brother Thomas Kittelman. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on March 18th at Week’s Funeral Home, 451 Cemetery Rd, Buckley, WA 98321.
