Robert Lee Johnson, 81, of Kent, WA passed away Monday July 1, after battling Parkinson’s with the unflagging support of his wife Marie.

Bob was born in Enumclaw, WA February 28, 1938 to Chet and Mary Johnson. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1956 and attended Central Washington University.

Bob was a proud Boeing Employee but couldn’t resist the golden handshake and retired at the age of 57. That left him free to pursue travel to Europe, white water rafting with his son Jerry and hundreds of thousands of vertical feet downhill skiing. Bob and Marie also enjoyed vacations to Birch Bay, Whistler, Hawaii and Long Beach to name a few. As an avid Husky and Seahawk fan, his and Marie’s travels expanded.

Bob was survived by brother Marvin Johnson (Maybelle) of Liberty Lake, WA; children from his 1st marriage to Linda: Jeff Johnson (Keri) of Renton, WA, Julie Johnson of Kenmore, WA, and Jerry Johnson (Heidi) of Buckley, WA; step-daughter Dee Davenport (Jeff) and step-son Steven Jasberg (Lisa); grandchildren Emily and James; and step-grandchildren Max, Gabe, Bailey, and Kennah.
