Rose Ellen (Rasmussen) Lovegren passed away in Puyallup, Washington on December 5, 2019. Rose was born in Missoula, Montana on April 24, 1931 to Kate (Colvin) and Peter Rasmussen. She attended Missoula High School and the University of Montana. She spent most of her professional career in the bookkeeping field.
Rose married Ray Martin in 1952 and had two children, Charles and Diana. In 1973 Rose married Herbert Lovegren. An avid gardener, Rose loved growing and tending to her dahlias in her Missoula garden. She also loved to knit, listen to music, and read. Later in life, she moved to Enumclaw, Washington and lived next door to her son Charles for 17 years before moving to Cascade Place. Rose belonged to the Kibler Avenue Church of Christ in Enumclaw.
Rose is survived by her son, Charles Martin of Enumclaw;her daughter, Diana (Martin) Snow (George) of Olympia; and three grandsons, Timothy Loughner (Johnet), Paul Fix, and Nicholas Fix (Sadie); three great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her brother, Marshall Rasmussen and her former husbands.
