Roxy Pettelle-Baxter of Buckley died June 27, 2018, at the age of 72.

She was born Aug. 26, 1945, in Centralia, Washington, to Francis and Anna Rafferty. She grew up on a small farm and loved her animals, especially her horses. She owned and operated The Village and worked at various other places in Enumclaw.

She is survived by husband Jim Baxter of Buckley; son Paul Baxter of Federal Way; and daughter Barbara Shupe (Brad) of Greenwater.

Memorials may be made to the Macaw Bird Sanctuary in Black Diamond.
