Enumclaw resident Shirley Yvonne Hren, 89, died Sept. 26, 2019.

She was born July 18, 1930, in Seattle to the late Andrew and Mary Jackson. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking. She was a member of SNPJ Lodge and Maple Valley Community Center.

She is survived by children Cheryl Budinich (Steve), Judy McDaniels, Deborah Adams (Greg) and Gary Hren; sister Colleen Roulst; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Hren; sister Juanita Candee; brothers Andrew and Darrel Jackson; and great-grandson Preston.

A funeral service took place at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 5, at Mt. Rainier Christian Center, 43801 244th Ave S.E. in Enumclaw.
