Stephen “Steve” Stenson died unexpectedly July 19, 2019, in Enumclaw. He was 66.
He was born April 11, 1950, in Helena, Mont., to the late Arthur “Art” and Martha Stenson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a computer technician at The Boeing Co. for 17 years. He is remembered for his humor, his love of singing, his generosity and his fondness for NASCAR racing.
He is survived by wife Dia Stenson; children Crista (Michael) Blood, Ronnie (Kelly) Stenson, Jamie (Ariana) Stenson, Donnie Stenson and Amy Stenson; sisters Susan (Kelly) Hubenthal and Linda (Joe) Bruna; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick “Pat” Stenson.
A private service will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow. Friends and family are invited to the celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Mountain Villa Estates clubhouse, 1099 Mountain Villa Dr. in Enumclaw.
